September 6, 2025 welcome home from DIY tour for the incredible Tampa band Gnats. Excellent documentation of a sampling of each set by the hero https://www.youtube.com/@DaviedinTheCrowd allows those of us who were there to relive, and for anyone else to catch the vibe of this Florida showcase.
Opening the show, a band I'm in, Permanent Makeup:
Etiquette: It's important to me for DIY shows to create a touring band sandwich in order to give the out of town bands the best chance at pals of the locals to catch their music. Locals are the bread, out of town acts the middle.

An inspiration of a show, thanks to all who made it happen and thanks for the documentation of what could be trapped in a few memories can instead have its essence shared a little wider.
